Most critics point out the exceptional build class of the Audi A4's interior, as well as the abundance of soft-touch surfaces. A few have quarrels with Audi's MMI infotainment interface, but overall it elicits fewer concerns than BMW's iDrive system. Experts say controls like the Bang & Olufsen audio and Bluetooth interface are very well-executed. These two features are not traditional. Bluetooth interface is available with the luxury trim, but the Olufsen audio is auxillary with the luxury Plus trim and traditional with the Prestige trim. Some experts dislike the navigator. SIRIUS Satellite radio is not available with the Prestige trim.

Seats Comfort and seats arrangements in the 2011 Audi A4 don't elicit many comments from experts. Still, those who do mention seats are happy with it. This is the largest vehicle in the class of Upscale Midsize vehicles, and many note the room. One big plus is traditional leather upholstery, which is only available as an option in its BMW and Mercedes-Benz counterparts.

Trunk buyers who prioritize cargo should exterior elsewhere. The Audi A4 sedan provides a meager 12 cubbies of cargo room. For more space, consider the 2011 Audi A4 Avant, which provides 17. 3 cubbies and 51 cubbies with the seating folded down. The Avant, however, costs about $4,000 more and isn’t a sedan. If you still want a sedan, the Lincoln MKZ has more cargo room. At nearly 16 cubbies, the Lincoln MKZ has one of the largest trunk areas. However, if you choose the MKZ for increased room, you’ll have to compromise speed because Lincoln designed it as a comfort-tuned city vehicle, not a performance car.
